You are cordially invited to attend the most fun retreat ever!

Now that we have the niceties out of the way, let’s get down to brass tacks…hehe.

The Sierra Creative Retreat will take place July 27,28,29&30 at the Courtyard Suites Hotel in Grass Valley, California. Lodging is not included, but we will provide a list of hotels in the area for you. The Courtyard suites is our favorite. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, lunch and snacks will be provided for you. Both The Courtyard Suites and The Gold Miners Inn include a complimentary breakfast for their guests. Dinner is not included in the cost of the retreat, but we do have lots of amazing restaurants in town to choose from.

We will be hosting a welcome party on Wednesday evening , for those who will be arriving the day. It will include treats from the famous Riley Jean the Pastry Queen. We hope you all can attend.

• On Thursday, July 27th, we will be creating a Sierra Folio and Treasure Box. There will be a few other creative projects and plans during our day together. The (loose) plan … because you know Lindsay is known for her spontaneity… is to get our craft on. As usual, I have so many ideas but we want to keep them as a surprise for you. After dinner, we can come back and work independently for a few hours until night night time.

• On Friday, July 28th, we will have a full day of filling our Sierra journals with lettering prompts, quotes and other fun surprises. In between all that… we will have some lettering lessons and practice. WooHoo! We will have a break during the day for a little shopping trip to my friend Heathers shop - Heathered Yarn Co. This is a short walking distance from the retreat. And you know I will always have more surprises up my sleeve.

• On Saturday, July 29th… brings a full day of doodling lessons, special projects and filling our journals with doodling lovelies. Have I said that “doodling is cheaper than therapy” ?… well it is! We will create some fun ephemera and fodder today too! I hope to build in some free play today as well as a friendly little competition amongst us all. Don’t worry, it will be fun… I promise!

• Day four - Sunday, July 30th …Today will be a half day of finishing up any projects you have been working on and maybe a surprise project from Lindsay. We know you will want a little time to socialize with your new friends. And that’s a wrap! How does that sound?

Don’t worry about remembering all of these details, I will be adding this and lots more to a facebook group for our lucky attendees. You will be invited to the Facebook group after you register. All this will be in the confirmation/application packet that is emailed once you have registered.

*** This retreat has limited space. We are hosting only 30 attendees so I recommend that you decide quickly. It will fill up fast.***

Now for the legal stuff………………………………………………..

Our cancellation policy is as follows. There will be no full refunds after June 26th, 2023. The registration fee is non-refundable and you will not be able to transfer them to another attendee ( without written permission from a Sierra Creative Retreat staff member). There are no exceptions. Any requests for full or partial refunds must be received in writing before June 26th, 2023. In case of acts of God, disaster or unforeseen circumstances , the Sierra Creative Retreat reserves the right to reschedule our retreat . In the event of a resurgence of the pandemic or a California wildfire, which requires cancellation of the event... we will refund all monies minus a $100 admin fee.. We are also not responsible for nor will we issue any full or partial refunds for any financial costs incurred by you due to lodging or travel issues, delays or cancellations.
