so this weekend, i made an artist's smock
using a plain men' button down shirt from the thrift store for a buck! Super big and a great blank canvas
i altered the sleeves
rolled back the cuffs and added some buttons...
changed out all the dull and drab men's white buttons and layered a bunch....
practiced my raw applique with my free motion foot... man oh man, what fun is that!

i love the hollyhocks and the center of the floppy flower.
and i was practicing my bird for an upcoming art quilt
there's my resume coming out of the pocket.... lettering, doodling, mixed media, art quilting, illustration, collage, design, stitching, cuteness. Yep, that about sums it up!
